Delete Your LISTD Account

Last updated: 28 July 2026

LISTD is developed and operated by Vincent Canales. This page explains how to request deletion of your LISTD account and the data associated with it, what is removed, what is kept, and how long it takes.

Option A — delete your account in the app

  1. Open LISTD and make sure you are signed in.
  2. Go to Settings (from your profile).
  3. Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
  4. Type DELETE in the confirmation box — the Delete forever button stays disabled until you do.
  5. Tap Delete forever.

Deletion runs immediately. You are signed out as soon as it succeeds and returned to the public home screen.

Option B — you cannot sign in

If you have lost access to your account, email privacy@getlistd.club from the email address on the account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. We will verify ownership of the address and delete the account manually. Requests are handled by a person, so allow a few business days for a reply.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in record: email, password, linked sign-in providers, active sessions, and any one-time login codes.
  • Your profile: display name, username/handle, bio, city, avatar, music tastes, interests, and Instagram handle.
  • Your activity: saved events, RSVPs, follows, blocks, message and comment reactions, muted conversations, group and community memberships, hidden conversations, and notifications you received.
  • Events you created personally (not attached to a venue or business profile), including their covers.
  • Notification data: push notification device tokens, notification history, and notification preferences.
  • Files you uploaded: your avatar, event covers you uploaded (unless a cover is still in use by an event that survives deletion), photos and videos you sent in direct messages and group chats, event recap photos, and business gallery uploads.

What is kept, with your identity removed

Some content is shared with other people, so removing it outright would break their record of a conversation or an event. Those items stay, but the link to you is severed permanently — your name, handle and avatar are gone, and the app shows “Deleted account”, “Former organizer” or “Deleted user” instead:

  • Comments you posted on events.
  • Messages you sent in direct messages and group chats with other people, so their conversation history stays intact.
  • Venue, organizer or business profiles you own or created, and events attached to a business profile or co-hosted with other people — these stay live and show you as “Former organizer”.
  • Business gallery items and @mentions you made in text.
  • Support tickets, reports you filed, reports filed about you, and moderation or audit records we are required to retain for safety and legal reasons.

Timing and retention

Deletion is immediate and irreversible. There is no grace period, no recovery window, and no way for us to restore an account once it has been deleted. Copies may persist in encrypted infrastructure backups for a limited period and where required by law.
